POSITION/JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Management, Ithaca College School of Business, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant/Associate Professor to begin August 16, 2014. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in Leadership & Team Collaboration, Human Resource Management, Change Management, and Strategic Management; MBA course in Organizational Structure & Process; electives as needed. Teaching excellence, scholarly productivity, student advising, and service to the Department of Management, School of Business, Ithaca College, and the profession are expected.
POSITION/JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in a management discipline such as Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Strategic Management, or closely related field. ABD candidates at final stages with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may be considered. Evidence of having achieved excellence in classroom teaching is expected as is appropriate scholarly research to establish or maintain AACSB academic qualification (AQ). Preference will be given to candidates with experience engaging students in the learning process through experiential/active learning methods such as collaborative projects, social media, simulations, and/or case analysis. Preferred candidates will have recent publications in refereed journals. Experience and/or research in managing a diverse, multi-cultural workforce is a plus.
