    ONE/SIM Junior Faculty Consortium
    Academy of Management Meeting, August 2008

    The objective of the ONE/SIM Junior Faculty Consortium is to enhance the scholarship, teaching, and overall development of faculty who are conducting research in the area of Organizations and the Natural Environment and/or Social Issues in Management, and who are in the early stages of their career. The Junior Faculty Consortium will provide a forum for exchanging ideas and insights concerning research, teaching and service. It also will offer opportunities for participants to expand their professional networks. Six topics will be discussed: publishing and funding your research, preparing for tenure, teaching, service and consulting. Pre-registration required.

    * Michael Barnett - University of South Florida
    * Magali Delmas - University of California, Santa Barbara
    * Jonathan Doh - Villanova University
    * Petra Christmann - Rutgers University
    * Edward Freeman - University of Virginia
    * Kathy Getz - American University
    * Andrew Griffith - University of Queensland
    * Irene Henriques - York University
    * Andy Hoffman - University of Michigan
    * Bryan Husted - York University
    * Marshall Schminke - University of Central Florida
    * Mark Starik - George Washington University
    * Duane Windsor - Rice University

    The Consortium will be held Saturday, August 9 (1:30 - 5:30 p.m.).

    Junior faculty who are interested in participating should submit a CV no later than July 15, 2008. Because of space limitations, individuals are encouraged to apply early by sending their materials to:
