How to make CSR calculable and corporations responsible? Exploring the influence of CSR indexes in corporate behaviour.
This exciting research project, in collaboration with FTSE, will investigate how CSR indexes contribute to making corporations behave in a responsible manner examining the processes and channels through which CSR indexes influence corporate behaviour, the extent to which CSR indexes lead to the institutionalization of socially responsible practices within corporations, the sensitivity of top executives to these metrics, other incentives that may influence corporate behaviour and any symbolic processes in play. The purpose of this investigation will be to identify how the effectiveness of these CSR indexes can be increased so that corporations will behave in a more socially responsible manner.
