Just a reminder that this Friday is the nomination deadline for the 2008 Faculty Pioneer Awards, sponsored by the Center for Business Education at the Aspen Institute.  The Awards were referred to by the Financial Times as the "Oscars of the business school world."

Faculty Pioneer Awards celebrate educators who have demonstrated leadership and risk-taking in integrating social and environmental issues into academic research, educational programs and business practice.  Nominations are open to all faculty members at any institution worldwide offering a graduate management degree.

Please visit http://aspencbe.org/awards/pioneers/2008Nomination.html for more information and to access the short nomination form for round one of the process, which is due, electronically, by <st1:date year="2008" day="14" month="3"><st1:date year="2008" day="14" month="3">Friday, March 14, 2008</st1:date></st1:date>.  Nominators of finalist candidates will be asked to complete a more comprehensive letter of recommendation in the spring.

This year's Faculty Pioneers will receive a cash prize, recognition at an awards breakfast in <st1:city><st1:place><st1:city><st1:place>New York City</st1:place></st1:city></st1:place></st1:city>, along with significant corporate and media recognition.  Winners will be announced in the fall of 2008.
