    Duquesne Introduces MBA Program Emphasizing Sustainability

    The Donahue Graduate School of Business at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Duquesne</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place> has announced the launch of an MBA program for the next generation of leaders.  Drawing on faculty expertise in ethics, supply chain management and leadership, Duquesne's innovative curriculum and delivery model combines the rigor of an MBA with the power of sustainability.  Now accepting applications for 2007, this program will prepare students to lead for prosperity today without compromising resources for future generations. 

     

    By integrating sustainability with MBA coursework, Duquesne is responding to a global imperative that, according to BusinessWeek (01/29/07), is at the "top of the agenda" for today's CEOs.  The focus is increasing organizational competitiveness through financial, social and environmental accountability.  The program's premise – do well by doing good – reflects a growing body of evidence that socially responsible and eco-friendly business practices boost bottom line profitability.
