    ***With Apologies for Cross-Postings***

    Colleagues:

There is a symposium at the upcoming Academy of
Management meeting that might be of interest to
    scholars interested in leadership, ethics,
    spirituality, positive organizational
scholarship, and related topics. The title of
this symposium (session # 1304) is "Positive
Approaches to Leadership: Doing Well by Doing
Good." It will take place on Tuesday, August 7th
from 2:30-3:50pm in the Philadelphia Marriott,
Liberty Ballroom C. This symposium features
    presentations relating authentic leadership
    (William Gardner, Texas Tech University),
spiritual leadership (Jody Fry, Tarleton State
University), and ethical leadership (Mike Brown,
Penn State-Erie) to the conference theme-- Doing
Well by Doing Good. Our discussant, Linda
Treviño (Penn State University) will highlight
the similarities and differences across theories.

We hope many of you can join us.

    Regards,

    Mike Brown
