    Call for Book Reviews

    The Business Journal of Hispanic Research is a new peer reviewed research journal focusing on topics that relate to Hispanic business professionals, managers, and executives as well as diversity professionals and others who manage or work with Hispanic business professionals. Our journal serves to act as a conduit between academic research and practice. 

    Book reviews are an important service to our readers, a platform for identifying and learning more about currently available literature and the state of research in the field.

    You may consider reviewing a book you have selected or choose from among several we can suggest. We can support you in obtaining a copy of a book.  If you are interested in submitting a book review please contact Robin Remick rremick@nshmba.org

    We encourage selections from a broad range of topics, including, but certainly not limited to:

      • Employment: Talent acquisition, retention, performance
      • Marketing
      • Corporate Governance
      • Education
      • Best practices in organizations
      • Entrepreneurship
      • Strategic Management

    Submission Deadline:  March 10, 2007

    Book reviews may be up to 1000 words.

    Please Include:

      • Book information: complete citation and ISBN
      • References: citations to any other literature referred to in the review.
      • Reviewer contact information: Name, organization, preferred mailing and email address for corresponding with us

    The Business Journal of Hispanic Research is a new peer reviewed research journal focusing on topics that relate to Hispanic business professionals, managers, and executives as well as diversity professionals and others who manage or work with Hispanic business professionals. Our journal serves to act as a conduit between academic research and practice. 

    Individuals whose research is in progress or about to begin are invited to submit a brief summary, up to 100 words (excluding title and author contact information). The summary should be an overview of the research objective(s) and methods. In the spirit of building a community of researchers and practitioners, please indicate if you are looking for research collaborators.


    Appropriate topics:  We encourage a broad range of topics, including, but certainly not limited to:

      • Employment: Talent acquisition, retention, performance
      • Marketing
      • Corporate Governance
      • Education
      • Best practices in organizations
      • Entrepreneurship
      • Strategic Management

    Submission Deadline:  March 10, 2007


    Please Include:

      • Working title of research project
      • Principle Investigator contact information: Name, organization, preferred address and email and phone for correspondence
      • Contributing researcher(s): Name and email address
