To support our kind and benevolent sponsors from Shell, I suggest that we should all take the plane from London, instead of the slow (5 hours) train to Cornwall!

Subject: [SIM] Call for Papers: The Next Great Transformation: Sustainable Enterprise
Hi Everyone,
Attached please find a call for papers for a very exciting conference coming
up in England October 24-26, 2007 at The Eden Project in Cornwall, England.
We are seeking ideas, innovations, stories, and papers!
Co-organized by Malcolm McIntosh (Coventry University, Allied Center in
Human Security), Georg Kell (Executive Head, UN Global Compact), and me
(Boston College, Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics and Center for
Corporate Citizenship), the conference seeks innovative ideas about how to
build a more just and sustainable world in way that will allow for the next
great transformation (Polanyi). Space is limited, but we are seeking
creative ideas and inputs from the best minds we can gather together-and the
experience of The Eden Project itself will be worth the trip (not to mention
the fun train ride to Cornwall from London!).
In addition to the above sponsors, the conference is being sponsored by
Shell International and supported by the Journal of Corporate Citizenship,
Business as an Agent for World Benefit, the European Academy for Business In
Society (EABIS) and Business Leaders Initiative for Human Rights.
Best to all,
Sandra Waddock
