I am working on a PDW proposal for the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename></st1:place> with some colleagues in Operations. We would like to do something that looks at the intersection of Ethics/CSR and Operations. As I understand it my colleagues in Operations see their domain as rather large. Issues such as ethical hiring practices (e.g. full time vs. temps), green supply chains, etc. have been raised at meetings. If anyone in SIM is working in this field and might be interested in participating in a PDW that we will try to schedule on Sunday afternoon please contact me.
