    The Darla Moore School of Business has an opening for a senior tenure track position to direct a school-wide initiative on sustainable enterprise and development. The sustainability initiative was chosen as part of an extensive and rigorous strategic planning process.
     
    Candidates should demonstrate a research program designed to conduct and publish high quality academic research within the general theme of sustainable enterprise and development. Research topics may include: 1) the interface between business and the natural environment; 2) the interface between business and economic development; or, 3) the interplay between the private sector, public sector and civil society.  We will accept applications from all disciplinary backgrounds.     Given the school-wide leadership expectations for this position, we plan to hire at the level of an associate or full professor. The candidate should have a firm commitment to excellence in teaching. An ideal candidate will have experience and/or interest in bringing together academics from multiple disciplinary and functional backgrounds to address topics related to sustainable enterprise and development.
