Dear All,
I would like to invite you to join a PDW that I am chairing this year in Montreal. We will be writing journal articles and this involves quite a lot of work prior to the PDW day, but we expect it to be very rewarding. Last year, the same group produced a book that will be published by Edward Elgar! I am looking for people to join my particular subgroup that will be focused on a paper relating to how international organizations and/or governments are involved in sustainable international development. We will develop the paper together under my leadership in preparation for publishing in an academic journal, likely the Journal of Business Ethics. If you would like to participate, please introduce yourself to me and outline in an email aspects about your background and interests that are relevant to writng a paper in this area. I have up to four spots open.
The PDW information is in the AoM program and I have duplicated some of it below.

This professional development workshop is a continuation of last year’s "Future Research Paths for Green International Management Studies" at the request of last year’s participants because they have a passion for sustainability, a reflection of the AoM 2010’s theme of Dare to Care: Passion and Compassion. Our output from the Chicago conference was a book that will be published this year. For this year's PDW, we will organize ourselves into four sustainability related subfields again with an aim to produce research articles. We invite new additional participants to join us in this passion! A draft article and presentation will be completed by each group prior to the PDW meeting. At the workshop, sub-groups will present to the entire group the state of progress of their articles and receive advice regarding improvement. After the feedback sessions, the groups will plan how they will revise their articles in preparation for submission to academic journals.
Contact the chair, Debbie de Lange, at
ddelange@suffolk.edu to join this PDW. Pre-register early. Work begins months in advance of the conference.
Search Terms: sustainability , green management , international strategy
Thank you in advance for your interest and I look forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards,
