Today the AIC Institute for Corporate Citizenship at the Rotman School of Management released the What's a CEO to do? Toolkit. It's a real-world guide that helps business leaders understand and prioritize key social and environmental issues and identify opportunities as well as potential risks.
The Toolkit is based on a corporate citizenship framework proposed by Roger Martin (academic director of the AIC Institute) in "The Virtue Matrix" (Harvard Business Review) and work done by the AIC Institute to help RBC Financial Group – Canada's largest company – develop their global corporate responsibility strategy.
And it's been published on an open source model with a Creative Commons license so that it can be widely used in boardrooms and classrooms.
If you'd like to receive a complimentary hard copy (limited availability), or to download the e-version, just visit us at www.rotman.utoronto.ca/aicinstitute/ceo.htm. Or if you'd like to know more about the AIC Institute, visit our website at www.rotman.utoronto.ca/aicinstitute.
Please feel free to forward this message to people within your organization who you feel might benefit from this publication. And we'd be delighted to hear your thoughts and feedback about by email or in our online Toolkit forum (coming soon).
Regards,
Rod Lohin
