Have you read any good books lately?
It's my pleasure to present the Call for Nominations for the 2009 Social Issues in Management Book Award. Books that are related to the SIM area and were published between January 2004 and December 2008 (inclusive) are eligible for nomination. Nominated authors need not be members of SIM. Textbooks and edited books with mutiple contributors are not eligible.
Nominated books will be rated on their relevance to SIM, contribution to the field, and empirical and/or theoretical rigour. Potential topics covered by nominated books include, but are not limited to:
Corporate social responsibilty/performance
Business ethics
Stakeholder theory
Corporate governance
Sustainability/Environment
Compliance
Etc.
