The Society for Business Ethics is pleased invite the members of SIM registered for this year's Academy of Management meeting to attend the Saturday afternoon sessions without SBE registration. The open sessions begin at 2 pm with two jointly sponsored SBE/SIM sessions. One is on "Teaching Business Ethics" featuring Tom Donaldson, Phil Cochran, Robin Derry and others. The other will discuss issues of cheating and plagiarism in higher education led by Stephen Carlson.
SIM members are also invited to attend the session to follow which highlights the three finalists for the SBE best paper award:
1. Mental Models that Impede Business' Role in Global Poverty Alleviation

Finally, the joint SBE/SIM keynote will feature Prof. Deirdre McCloskey on The Bourgeois Virtues: Ethics for an Age of Commerce
The SBE Annual Meeting will be held at the Allerton Hotel, 701 N. Michigan Ave, just a short walk down Michigan Avenue from the Fairmont. Please remember to wear your AOM badge. We hope you can join us for what promises to be an intellectually stimulating afternoon!
