Assistant Professor
Position Description:
The Department of Management and the Leadership Institute in the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are seeking applicants for an assistant professor position for fall 2009. The candidate will be a member of the Department of Management and involved with the Leadership Institute's programmatic offerings and ongoing research agenda. Both the salary and teaching load are competitive, as well as support for research and instruction. Requirements:
Applicants are expected to have an established research agenda and program with demonstrated success in publishing in top tier journal outlets. We are seeking applicants who have a primary research interest in HR/OB. Applicants are also expected to have demonstrated excellence in instructional settings and able to work with undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students. We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated strong conceptual and methodological skills. Applicants should have a doctoral degree from an accredited program in a relevant discipline such as Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, etc. Candidates need to send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching and research effectiveness, and names and addresses of three references to:
