Before the inauguration and an abbreviated next week, I want to let you all know about two upcoming web conferences from The Aspen Institute.

• "Preparing Responsible Managers for the Mining and Metals Industry"

January 22 at 12 noon EST.  Dr. R. Anthony Hodge, President of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) and Bruce Hutton, Dean Emeritus and Piccinati Professor of Marketing at the Daniels College of Business at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Denver</st1:placename></st1:place> will speak.

• "How Should Sustainability Be Integrated into the Core Finance Curriculum?"

February 4 at 11 AM EST.  Gautam Kaul, John C. and Sally S. Morley Professor of Finance at the Ross School of Business at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Michigan</st1:placename></st1:place>, and Sylvia Maxfield, Associate Professor at the Simmons College School of Management will speak.
