and ethics. We expect that this person will be a champion and catalyst for
interdisciplinary research efforts in this area.
This position is part of a major hiring initiative within the College of
Business and Economics that is unprecedented in scope at Lehigh University
(www.lehigh.edu). The faculty recruitment plan includes the addition of 12
new faculty positions this year across all departments and at various
levels of seniority. New university leadership that includes President
Alice Gast, formerly from MIT, Dean Paul Brown from NYU/Stern and Provost
Mohamed El-Aasser is fully committed to this effort.

Pennsylvania, on a scenic, 1,600-acre campus in historic Bethlehem (ranked
in Money Magazines’ “top 100 places to live” in 2006), 50 miles north of
Philadelphia and 75 miles southwest of New York City. Lehigh Valley
International Airport, served by most major airlines, is 15 minutes from
campus.
The College of Business and Economics is home to approximately 1250
undergraduates, 325 graduate students, and 55 full-time faculty members. In
addition to undergraduate, MBA, and various doctoral programs, joint
programs exist between business and engineering including the joint Center
