Driving Directions | | | | Panel Discussion: Becoming a Social Entrepreneur Social entrepreneurs will describe their path to becoming successful social entrepreneurs in a variety of settings and sectors. They will also discuss how they acquired the knowledge, skills and strategies that they will needed to make their vision for socially responsible businesses come to life. This will be an opportunity for eduators to understand how learning about social enterprise comes t life--from the classroom to the conference room and everywhere in between.
reSET's Educational Challenge: Beyond Business as Usual on Campus Students, faculty and academic staff will work together to brainstorm new ways of creating partnershiops that willhelp launch a social movement amongst Connecticut's institutions of higher education. Come prepared to explore new methods of engaging more members of your school's community in conversations about how to help students pursue careers that produce both purpose and profit. Topics will include: - Devloping Curriculum in Demand: meeting the needs of current and prospective students
- Maximizing Return on Your Investment: inter-disciplinary strategies for developing social enterprise curriculum
- Student-Faculty Partnerships: new knowledge, new research, new opportunities
