We published this opinion piece today, Climate movement should focus on winning 2020 presidential election.
We suggest that the movement should champion a pragmatic climate agenda that can create a winning coalition in 2020. It should draw appropriate lessons from the defeat of the carbon tax initiatives in the state of Washington in 2016 and again in 2018.
