Greetings from Charlottesville!
The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is pleased to announce the 2019 Summer Seminar in Stakeholder Theory, to be held in Charlottesville, Virginia, 1- 7 August, 2019.
Under the direction of Professor Ed Freeman, the Summer Seminar is an opportunity to join the best junior faculty and PhD students in the world with interest in stakeholder theory for a week of learning opportunities and research collaborations, which we hope will create a network of young scholars working in this field, and also give participants direct exposure to some of the leaders in stakeholder theoretical research.
Professor Freeman has asked that I share the official letter of invitation to apply with you, which you can access via this link to the Institute for Business in Society Web site.
We encourage you to share this invitation with any junior faculty, PhD students, and research scholars whom you believe might have interest in applying for this fantastic, scholarship-funded opportunity. We are looking forward to seeing many of you in Charlottesville this summer!
Warmly,
Joseph Burton
