Dear SIM Colleagues and Friends,
I want to encourage everybody to please sign up to review for SIM.
Even if you have never reviewed for us before, or are early in your career in the field, we'd welcome you as a reviewer.
If you have reviewed before, especially if you are an experienced reviewer, we really need you to sign up – and to volunteer to be an AE. Please note that if you want to be an AE, you must first sign up as a Reviewer (then I will assign you as an AE).
We have been getting a record number of submissions for the past several years – and we expect the numbers to grow again this year. This means that we have to continue to grow the pool of reviewers just to keep pace and ensure that those who submit get quality feedback and a fair process for deciding which submissions make it into the program. We can't make that happen without your support and involvement.
The signup process is easy and only takes a few minutes. Please go to https://review.aom.org and sign in; make sure you choose SIM when you get to the Division and Interest Group Selection option.
The review period will be from January 23 to February 14, 2019.
As Program Chair, I'm more acutely aware than ever of how much our division relies upon the support, involvement and contributions of our membership to realize our scholarly aspirations. We can't put on a great program without you!
I want to thank everyone who gives their time and effort to support the division, especially through reviewing and being an AE for the Annual Meeting.
