The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications, pending the availability of funding, for an assistant/associate tenure-track professor of strategic management. We are especially interested in applicants with experience and having a proven record of scholarship, teaching, and service. Tenure is possible depending on the record of the successful candidate.
We are open to applicants from all areas of management scholarship with a focus on strategy. Maintenance of AACSB academic qualifications (Scholarly Academic) is required. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses during the academic year, which may include fall, winter, and/or spring quarters.
The minimum qualification are: An earned doctorate in management or an equivalent field from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited school (ABD will be considered); current publication record includes high quality research contributions; evidence of teaching excellence; established record in research, teaching, and service as appropriate to the level of the applicant, be that assistant or associate professor (if ABD, evidence of potential for teaching excellence); strong English communication skills (written and oral), and demonstrated commitment to the principles of multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusive excellence. Preferred qualifications include publications in Financial Times Top 50 journals or equivalent and experience teaching and working with Ph.D. students. Salary is competitive.
