    About The Keynote talk:

Ethics in Business Education: Where From Here?

Monday 11.30 AM to 1 PM. Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Marquis Salon D

In her keynote address Linda Treviño will propose expanding our thinking about ethics education in three ways: First, by moving beyond a strictly philosophical approach to embrace a management approach to teaching ethics in business schools so that anyone with management training can feel comfortable teaching an ethics class.  Second, by expanding our thinking about ethics education beyond ethics "content" in the classroom to an approach that encourages building "moral muscle" by practicing ethics both inside and outside the classroom.  And, third, by finding ways to educate practitioners about what we have learned from our research so that we can contribute to avoiding the Volkswagen and Wells Fargo scandals of the future.
