Topic: Soliciting Unpublished Studies for Meta-Analysis: Unethical Pro-Organizational Behavior (UPB)
Dear Colleagues,
My name is Tobi Popoola, a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Mississippi, Oxford Campus. For my dissertation, I am currently conducting a meta-analysis on the antecedents, mediators and moderators of Unethical Pro-Organizational Behavior (UPB). UPB refers to actions that are intended to promote the effective functioning of the organization or its members (e.g. leaders) and violate core societal values, mores, laws, or standards of proper conduct. To ensure my complete review of all available manuscripts from 2010 - when Umphress, Bingham & Mitchell coined the term - till date, I am looking for unpublished studies on this topic.
To include a study into my meta-analysis, the following criteria should be met:
1. The study must have been conducted after Umphress et al.'s 2010 seminal work
2. The study must contain some quantitative measure of UPB (e.g. intentions, actual UPB such as earnings management) as the dependent variable
3. The study (e.g. survey, experiment, multilevel, or longitudinal) must include and measure the antecedent(s), mediator(s), and/or moderator(s) of UPB
4. The author(s) report(ed) the effect size (e.g. correlation, standard deviation, or other statistical variables that can be transformed or used to calculate the effect size) or must be calculable from data provided and discussed in the paper.
If you have conducted a study or know of any work meeting the aforementioned criteria - including working papers, dissertations, conference papers, articles in press articles, technical reports, or theses - and might contain results (e.g. correlations, correlation tables, etc.), please email me (ipopoola@bus.olemiss.edu) by October, 9th, 2017. I would also be grateful if you can forward this message to anyone you know who has conducted a similar study on UPB.
Sorry for cross-posting. With gratitude.
Sincerely,
Tobi
