The Chair of Sustainable Production Management, Department of Business Administration, Economics, and Law within the Faculty II of Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg offers one full-time (100%) and one part-time (50%) position as
Postdoctoral Research Associate and/or Ph.D. Student,
beginning in April 2017 or later. The position is initially limited for three years, with prospect for continuation. Gross salary is according to TV-L E13 and depends on formal qualifications and previous experience, ranging from approx. € 3,587 to approx. € 5,177 a month. The position is suitable for part-time work.
Your tasks
- Preparing and teaching courses related to operations and supply chain management and/or corporate sustainability
- Supervising and evaluating final theses and exams
- Participating in research projects and writing of scientific papers in the domain of "Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management." The exact focus will be developed jointly with the supervisor
Hiring prerequisites
- Excellent degree at master/Ph.D. level in management, economics, another social science, a natural science, or engineering
- Personal or professional connection to operations and supply chain management and/or corporate sustainability
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proven analytical skills and creativity
- Strong motivation for achievement, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility
- Postdoctoral candidates should also have a track record of studies aimed at publication in renowned international journals
Prior teaching experience, research experience, project management experience, and willingness to learn German are advantageous.
