Sorry for the bombardment of emails. Below are details from Malcolm McIntosh's family about the funeral arrangements (and there will be a memorial service later in the year) in case any of you are around Bath and can attend:
Dear family, friends, colleagues, collaborators, acquaintances...
As some of you may have already heard, we are very sad to let you know that Malcolm McIntosh died on the morning of Wednesday 7th June at Dorothy House Hospice, situated in beautiful countryside just outside Bath. He had asked to move there the day before after a busy time of seeing friends, going for coffee, and attending concerts and talks as part of the Bath Festival in the previous few weeks.
"Have fun and laugh. I had a ball. Sorry to go early. Laugh a lot, it oxygenizes the brain just as well as yoga."
We appreciate that you will all have known Malcolm in different capacities. He knew so many people all over the world and we have a lot of people to contact! Please share this with anyone who you feel would like to know.
"Plant apple trees everywhere you go! The trees'll bear fruit forever... and the world'll keep turning..."
Malcolm always wanted to own a little piece of woodland. So if you would like to, please plant a tree or follow the link below to make a donation to The Woodland Trust; Malcolm was a long-time supporter.

After the funeral, please come back to Malcolm and Louise's home for food, wine, conversation, and conviviality, hopefully in the sunshine! The address is: Flat 2 Westfield House, 172 Bloomfield Road, Bath, BA2 2AT.
There will also be a memorial celebration later in the year - an opportunity for professional colleagues and those further afield to remember his life and work. We hope to coincide with the publication of Malcolm's book 'In Search of The Good Society: An Essay on Love, Hope, Art and Social Progress'.
With love from,
Lou, Sophie, and Cleo
