To submit, you will need an EasyChair account. The submission deadline is 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time on February 3, 2017. Submissions must follow the formatting specified in the ASAC Style Guide, available on the EasyChair submission site, as well as the ASAC website (www.asac.ca). All contributions will be peer reviewed, with awards recognizing the best case(s) submitted. For the cases in development stream, submit proposals according to the submission instructions on the EasyChair site by 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time on March 15, 2017. Submission and Acceptance Criteria:

    1. Individuals can be associated with a maximum of three submissions in total (including case studies, papers and/or symposium proposals).

    2. Proceedings: Titles and abstracts of all papers accepted for the conference will be included in the conference Proceedings; this is not a published document and will be available to only the ASAC membership post-conference. The division will give one Best Paper award and may also give a secondary award (Honorable Mention or Best Student award), as decided by the division. The authors of award-winning papers may choose to not have the full text of their papers appear in the Proceedings. However, award-winning papers will be recognized as such in the Proceedings regardless of whether the full text of the paper is included.

    3. By making a submission to the conference, the author(s) of each submission agree that at least one author of each accepted submission will attend the conference and present the paper.

    4. ASAC retains the right to review and reject papers suspected to contain plagiarized material.

Montreal: The place to be in 2017!

Montr??al???s 375th anniversary presents an excellent opportunity to create a unique atmosphere for the 2017 ASAC Conference. Word is spreading fast, both at home and abroad: Montr??al will be an exceptionally popular, vibrant, and welcoming destination in 2017.

Montr??al is a fascinating city, a bold and complex mix of contrasts built on a legacy of heritage and culture with a European flair. Montr??al is attractive for so many reasons. It is an island in the heart of an enchanting and majestic river, the Saint Lawrence, home to 1.8 million people. It is a bilingual city where English and French live side by side and intermingle quite naturally. It is also home to some 35 languages and at least as many well-established cultural communities, including the Italian, Chinese, Greek and Spanish-speaking communities.

Montr??al is a cultural metropolis with over 20 classic museums, many theatres and countless performance halls to suit every taste, from fine arts to history to humor and sport enthusiasts. Montr??al is a city of festivals that overflows with warmth year-round, thanks to a whirlwind of cultural and sporting activities that fill its busy calendar (http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/).

There are many bistros, pubs, restaurants, night clubs and trendy dance clubs. Restaurants serve cuisine from around the world, enough to satisfy every palate, appetite and budget, not to mention the home-grown specialties. Thanks to its efficient public transit system, taxis, and a bike sharing system, getting around the city is easy and convenient.
