    SINGAPORE MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY

Singapore Management University's vision is to become a premier university, internationally recognized for its world-class research and distinguished teaching. Formed in January 2000, SMU is a US-style research university situated in a downtown Singapore campus. The OBHR faculty members study topics such as negotiation, culture, performance measurement, trust, organizational justice, job attitudes, knowledge management, workplace emotions, work-life balance, organizational citizenship, and behavioural decision making, and they publish their research in the top OBHR journals. As a new university, teaching focus has been on undergraduates. However, we are now expanding post-graduate and executive programs, including a Ph.D. programme in OBHR. Our teaching has already been recognized as distinctive within Asia owing to our relatively small class sizes, our emphasis on experiential learning across the entire curriculum, and the building of leadership and organizational skills in addition to more technical skills.
