| This workshop examines contemporary management research in the context of Africa. The workshop will emphasize the issues of governance and natural resources, particularly the problem of the resource curse in which an abundance of natural resources has not improved economic welfare. Insight from the President of the Natural Resources Governance Institute (NRGI), Daniel Kaufman, will help participants appreciate the contribution of organizations and management scholars to the debate on the role of natural resources in national development. |
