    ***APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING***

We are inviting contributions to the Business, Peace and Sustainable Development (BPSD) Journal from Greenleaf Publishing.

Business, Peace and Sustainable Development (BPSD) is a peer-reviewed journal that aims at understanding the role of the business sector in enhancing peace and reducing violence, and contributing to sustainable development. Corporate Peace is an umbrella concept that contains business, social and strategic dimensions. It is the capacity of an organization to consider peace and the reduction of violence as a component in its business strategy, and the utilisation of business resources to raise awareness and enhance peace. While research has been published on business and peace and peace through commerce, BPSD is the first journal dedicated to the mutual contribution of business and peace.

BPSD publishes papers on, but not limited to, the following topics:

    1.     Cases of corporate peace, peace through commerce, and businesses contributing to peace and development

    2.     Theoretical articles and models on business, peace and development

    3.     Economic metrics on the mutual contribution of business, economy and peace

    4.     Social impact of corporate peace

    5.     Tools and mechanisms of corporate peace and sustainable development

    6.     Tri-sectorial collaborations (governments, businesses and NGOs) to achieve peace

    7.     Stakeholders' perceptions and attitudes on these subjects (e.g. motivations, barriers, attitudes)

    8.     Measurements and comparisons of corporate peace in various firms, countries etc.

    9.     Business and human rights

    10.  Business and disaster reduction

    Submit your paper

Papers of between 3,000 and 6,000 words are invited for double-blind peer review. Register and submit your paper online at www.greenleaf-journals.com/index.php/bpsd

See the notes for contributors or contact the Editor for more guidelines. Please note that BPSD is an online publication, although print issues may be produced for specific events.

    Peace Dialogues

Contributions are also invited for BPSD's Peace Dialogues section. This is the non-peer-reviewed section of BPSD, designed for publishing short essays and thought pieces on the role of business in enhancing peace and sustainable development. In addition to the main section of BPSD, in which we publish academic papers and empirical articles, essays in the PD section focus on the practice of  business and peace (e.g. tools, examples or case studies) philosophical essay (e.g. new ideas and approaches), as well as on analyses of the role of businesses in contemporary conflicts and current affairs.

Essays for PD do not need to be long (5-10 pages would be appropriate) and do not need to cite sources at the same level of full academic articles, although it would be useful to refer to some literature and data.

We are delighted to have relocated to Salts Mill - a UNESCO World Heritage Site set in the village of Saltaire. The Grade II Listed historic mill building was built in 1853 by Sir Titus Salt along with the village to house his workers. The whole area is of architectural and historical interest and houses one of the largest collections of David Hockney's art. http://www.saltsmill.org.uk/
