    ** Sorry for any redundant cross-postings. **

KU School of Business has a full-time lecturer position in the field of Management for the fall of 2015 to teach 4 courses per semester in Organizational Behavior, Management and Business Strategy. Candidates must have at least PhD in Management, Strategy or a related discipline from an AACSB Accredited Business school and experience teaching Management- related subjects. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with online course development and instruction. For complete details and to apply, please visit http://employment.ku.edu/academic/3176BR.  Application deadline is May 18, 2015.  KU is an EO/AAE.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected Veteran status.

The need for this position stems from strong growth in enrollments at the undergraduate level in the Business School and the future launching of one and maybe more new graduate programs. This position is considered a key position in the Management & International Area at the University of Kansas Business School with strong candidates having a passion for teaching undergraduates. Additional activities including the possible advising of a student clubs and other student-centric activities. Research expectations are minimal.

The position is annually renewable with University of Kansas' policies allowing longer contracts, such as three and five year contracts, after a handful of years of excellent performance. We anticipate this position to be a long-term faculty position.

The University of Kansas is located in Lawrence, Kansas (USA), which is a college town with a population of around 90,000 not including KU students. KU is a residential university with most students living on campus or in Lawrence. Lawrence is known for its arts and cultural activities along with a vibrant night life. There are excellent public and private school options. The western edge of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area is about 25 miles east of Lawrence.

The Business School at KU will be moving into a brand new building in Summer 2016 (Capital Federal Hall), which can be viewed in concept and construction here: http://newbuilding.business.ku.edu/ . The KU undergraduate business program was ranked tied for 31st among US public university programs in the latest US News & World Report Rankings. US News further ranks KU's full-time MBA Program as the top program in Kansas and KU's part-time MBA program in Kansas City as the top part-time program in the Kansas City Metro Area.
