    Public Administration Review Adds Four Associate Editors

     

    Editor in Chief Jim Perry and Editor Rick Feiock are pleased to announce the addition of four associate editors to the Public Administration Review editorial team.

     

    Yijia Jing is Professor of Public Administration and Associate Dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, and Director of the Center for Collaborative Governance Research at Fudan University in China. His research interests include privatization, governance, collaboration, service delivery, nonprofit, and comparative public administration. He is editor-in-chief of Fudan Public Administration Review and coeditor of Palgrave book series, Governing China in the 21 Century. Dr. Jing has published widely including Public Administration Review, International Public Management Journal, and Journal of Policy Analysis and Management. Dr. Jing received a Ph.D. in public policy from the Ohio State University, MA in sociology from the University of Maryland, and a BA and MA in Economics from Peking University.

     

    Kelly LeRoux is Associate Professor at University of Illinois, Chicago.   Her research interests include local government, urban governance, nonprofit management, mobilization and political advocacy, nonprofit organization performance and accountability, and inter-organizational networks. Her research is published in leading urban affairs, nonprofit management and public administration journals including Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Administration Review, Journal Urban Affairs, Urban Affairs Review, and Administration & Society.  Dr. LeRoux earned a Ph.D. in political science, MPA and MSW from Wayne State University, and BSW from Western Michigan University.

     

    Zeger van der Wal is Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.  His interests include ethics and public values, public service motivation, organization behavior civil service, and strategic management.  He has held visiting fellowships at American University, the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, and Australia National University.  His over 70 publications include articles in Public Administration Review, Public Administration, Administration & Society, American Review of Public Administration, Public Management Review, and International Public Management Journal.  Dr. van der Wal earned a Ph.D. in public administration from VU University, the Netherlands and MA in political science from the University of Amsterdam.

     

    Gregg G. Van Ryzin is Professor in the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers University, Newark, where he also serves as Director of the PhD program. His interests and expertise include experimental studies, surveys and methodology, community development, citizen satisfaction with urban services, performance measurement and evaluation, and comparative public opinion about government policy and institutions. Prof. Van Ryzin is widely published in scholarly journals in public administration, policy analysis, and urban affairs and is co-author of Research Methods in Practice (SAGE 2011/2014).  Professor Van Ryzin received his Ph.D. in psychology from the City University of New York and his BA in geography from Columbia University.

     

    This exceptionally well qualified set of scholars brings a diverse mix of disciplinary training, professional experience and outstanding records of scholarship to PAR. In 2014 Public Administration Review experienced an increase in new submission of 28 percent over the previous year.  Our new Associate Editors will assist the Editor Rick Feiock in managing this historic growth and support broad subject-matter areas related to PAR's editorial content.
