    ESRC SEMINAR SERIES:

    SMEs & COPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN SUPPLY CHAINS: AN EMERGING/DEVELOPING COUNTRIES PERSPECTIVE - CALL FOR PAPERS

     

    We are pleased to announce the call for Papers for the ESRC seminar: SMEs and Corporate Social Responsibility in Supply Chains: An Emerging/Developing Countries Perspective - to be held at Nottingham University Business School on 31st March 2015.

     

    The integration of CSR and SMEs into local, regional, and international supply chains is a debated topic.  This seminar critically explores the requirements, contingencies and conflicts of supply chains spanning to and operating in developing/emerging countries. We examine various issues of supply chain governance and inclusive business models, and seek to understand the opportunities, trade-offs, and challenges for embracing multi-dimensional sustainability among SMEs.

     

    We welcome submissions from different academic disciplines that are conceptual, theoretical or empirical in nature and present new insights and innovative ideas regarding the role of SMEs in sustainable SCM in emerging/developing nations. We welcome extended abstracts or full conceptual/empirical paper submissions that shed new light on, but are not limited to:-

     

    Supply Chain Governance

    Inclusive Business Models

    Opportunities and Challenges of Embracing Multi-dimensional Sustainability

     

    Authors interested in submitting a paper for presentation at the seminar should submit an abstract (not less than 1500-3000 words) or full paper (5000-8000 words) to iccsr@nottingham.ac.uk by Friday 20th February 2015.  Notice of acceptance will be made on 6th March 2015.
