    ESSENTIALS 3: LEVERAGING CONSTRAINTS FOR INNOVATION -- Call for Chapter Proposals

    We are looking for contributors to the third volume in the PDMA Essentials book series, focused on "Leveraging Constraints for Innovation". This volume will explore the various constraints faced by innovators across levels (individual, team, company, region, market, etc.) and their intersections. The book will focus on frameworks, processes, techniques, and methods that move the innovation field toward understanding how to successfully innovate within and across constraints. This includes access constraints and restrictions to markets, customer segments, etc. The full call for chapter proposals in available at http://value-based-innovation.com/PDMAEssentials3.pdf 

    Co-edited with Jelena Spanjol and Abbie Griffin, we are looking for chapter proposals from potential contributors by January 15 2016. All chapter proposals should be submitted via email, addressed to  both spanjol@uic.edu and sebastian.gurtner@tu-dresden.de with "PDMA Essentials 3 Submission" in the subject line.

    Please format chapter proposals as follows:

    • Title page with chapter title, author name, author contact information and short (300 word maximum) author biography.
    • Description of proposed chapter description (single-spaced, two page maximum length)
      • Brief description and identification of specific constraint(s) examined
      • Relevance to existing practice
      • Type of evidence (case study, conceptual model, experimental data, survey,...) to be used in chapter
