SIM Research Development Workshop at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, Anaheim, August 6, 2016
Do you have a draft paper in the broad field of Social Issues in Management (SIM) that would benefit from an in-depth developmental review by leading scholars in the field?
Do you have a great research idea but want feedback on how best to refine it into an impactful project?
The SIM Research Development Workshop brings together SIM researchers with the aim of:
(1) improving manuscripts prior to submission to high quality management journals; and
(2) providing an opportunity to meet, discuss and get expert feedback on early ideas for research projects –
in the social issues in management field. The purpose of both types of activity is to exchange ideas, get feedback, and identify possible collaborations with others. As usual, this event will be sponsored by Business & Society.
This year we are also lucky to have a brilliant pool of mentors: Brent Beal, Frances Bowen, Steve Brammer, Ed Freeman, Virginia Gerde, Sefa Hayibor, Colin Higgins, Dima Jamali, Alfie Marcus, Thomas Maak, Dirk Matten, Douglas May, Alex Newman, Kathleen Rehbein, Christian Resick, Jorge Rivera, Michael Russo, Laura Spence, Jim Weber and Andy Wicks.
Please note – we will do our best to find you the best match but we cannot guarantee you will all be assigned to the mentors you want.
