The 3rd PRME UK and Ireland Conference "Collaboration and Capacity Building in Responsible Management Education" will be held on 20-22 June 2016, and hosted jointly by Nottingham Business School and Nottingham University Business School.

The conference will be held at the Nottingham Conference Centre in the heart of the City.  This year's PRME conference is run in parallel with the annual European Business Ethics Network and gives a great opportunity for businesses and academics from across the UK and Internationally to interact.

The theme for PRME delegates is "collaboration and capacity building in responsible management education".  The theme of this conference aims to stimulate discussion on questions such as: What are the capabilities and relationships that Higher Education Institutions need to enhance in light of SDGs? How can we better create meaningful collaborations that engage multiple stakeholders and institutions? How can we move forward powerfully together in service of the PRME principles?

We are looking forward to lively discussion and contributions are invited as either: ten-minute presentations or 40-minute interactive workshops. Please see the full call and details on submission here.

Highlights of the conference will be a welcome talk by Jonas Haertle (PRME Secretariat).  Our Conference Dinner will be on Monday 20th June with keynote speakers including Professor Ed Freeman, speaking on the future of responsible management education. A multi-stakeholder panel will be convened for lunchtime on Tuesday 21st June to look at collaborations to promote sustainability (e.g. Nottingham City Council, Boots, Experian, BitC, NHS, ICRS).

Registration will open on 23rd March 2016  (Details to follow). Fees for attending PRME will be £115 (Students £65) this will include the cost of the Conference Dinner. A discounted rate is available for those attending both PRME and EBEN conferences (Please see EBEN website for details).  Accommodation details will be available on the registration page, alternatively hotel information can be found here.

During the time together there will be opportunities for informal meetings and of course to hear some exciting papers. We have already had a number of interesting workshop proposals on themes such as: Promoting diversity in our MBA cohorts, Coaching for responsible leadership, eLearning for sustainability).

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in Nottingham and the land of Robin Hood.
