    Dear Colleagues

It's been some time since we've offered an update on the NBS Sustainability Centre's community, which has now grown to 120+ research centres worldwide. I'm hoping through this message to encourage you to join this community, if you aren't already a member. Details on the community are provided below.

    What is the community?
The Sustainability Centres Community is an online community consisting of more than 100 sustainability centres from more than 21 countries around the world. Here is a map of the centres. Community members can find research partners, share best practices, and solve common challenges. This collaboration has already helped to build capacity among the members to advance our common goals.

As a Community Member, you can:
    ·      Create and search centre profiles
    ·      Interact and learn from other centres through webinars
    ·      Share best practices through monthly Success Stories
    ·      Post opportunities to a public forum
    ·      Participate in the Centres Workshop, held once every two years

    Why Now?
Members of the community met at the Harvard Business School in June 2014 for an innovative workshop. This time together seeded a number of collaborative projects and a renewed energy for sharing ideas. Join the community at this exciting time and support these collaborations as they emerge.

Together we can have greater impact.
If you're affiliated with a university-hosted business sustainability centre, please join the Community: nbs.net/sustainability-centres/join-the-sustainability-centre-community/

"If we are going to do our job as educators, it's time to step it up. We need to move beyond gradual steps and get real about a sustainability platform that works in higher education and in industry. Though this may seem elusive at present, with shared purpose and collaboration, we can begin to find the answers.
