Dear SIM colleagues:
The Network for Business Sustainability is calling for proposals for two research studies to be completed in 2015. These projects are intended to inform business sustainability practice and policy by providing decision-makers with rigorous, research-based solutions. Researchers will work closely with an advisory council of senior sustainability managers to sharpen the study scope and generate outcomes that can be implemented by practitioners.
The research questions are:
Project 1: How can businesses increase the effectiveness of their sustainability reporting practices?
The call for proposals is available on our website: http://nbs.net/call-for-proposals-sustainability-reporting/
Project 2: How can businesses collaborate with competitors to identify and implement sustainability solutions?
The call for proposals is available on our website: http://nbs.net/call-for-proposals-collaborating-with-competitors-for-sustainability/
Funding for each project is CAD$15,000 (based on the research team's budget. Amounts exceeding CAD$15,000 will be considered with appropriate justification in the budget). Proposals are due January 7, 2015, and research teams from around the world are welcome to apply.
Please forward this opportunity to colleagues who may be interested.
Apologies for cross-posting.
