The Academy meeting is a great place to meet new people, and there is no
better way to get to know your fellow researchers interested in social
issues in management than the SIMian Speed Dating event.
SIMian Speed Dating is a fast, fun and highly engaging format to facilitate
interpersonal connections among researchers interested in CSR, business
ethics, stakeholder management, and sustainable business. We have a host of
hot dates available to meet with you, including senior and mid- career
scholars across a range of SIM topic areas. We randomly pair you up for a
series of 10 minute conversations, where you get to introduce yourselves
and share your research interests, and then move on at the sound of a bell
to the next person. Whether you are new to the division or a seasoned
veteran, the SIMian speed dating event is a great way to build your
connections in the SIM community. Your next research collaboration could
start here!
Confirmed dates for the session include Stephen Brammer, Cynthia Clark;
Phil Cochran, Jo Crotty, Paul Dunn, Michelle Greenwood, Johanne Grosvold,
Colin Higgins, Laura Illia, Dima Jamali, Robert Phillips, Gary Weaver, Jim
Weber, and Duane Windsor.
So start your Saturday night off right at the SIMian Speed Dating, from
4.15 - 5.30 on Saturday Aug 2nd in the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in
Washington Room C. Program session #456.
No need to pre-register, just show up on the day!
Look forward to seeing you all there
