    ***APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING***

     

    Colleagues,

     

    I will be arriving in Boston tomorrow, Friday, at 5:40 pm and would

    like to share a cab to the Marriott Copley.  There apparently is no shuttle

    service and the cab fare is $35 one way for a 3.2 mile trip. If so, let me know

    and I can meet you at the cab stand. I am coming in on Southwest from

    St. Louis.

    Dan and all:

    Not to discourage anyone from sharing a taxi but there actually are shuttles--I took one today for $18. (It would have been a good deal but the driver dropped me off at the wrong Marriott.)

    free if you get on the silver line at the airport and transfer at the South Station. No need to pay at all. Marlene

    Just so you all know, the Silver Line is actually a bus. Quick trip to Sourh Station from Logan, where you can then get on the subway, Red Line inbound to Park Street. Get off Red line at Park Street and stay underground and follow signs for the Green Line towards Copley (I believe it is Green Line outbound at this juncture). There are several different green line outbound trains leaving Park Street with different destinations but every one of them stops in Copley Square so you can grab any one. It is easy and safe and lets you off a block from the Marriott and the Park Plaza.
