Reminder:  ICCSR PHD WORKSHOP – MARGINALIZED VOICES IN CSR – CALL FOR PAPERS – closing date 22nd March 2013

After 60 years of development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has gained precedence as a research field in it own rights.  However, perspectives that allow a broader understanding of the area have yet to come to the fore.  The ICCSR PhD Workshop welcomes these marginalized voices and opens a space for new approaches to be heard and fruitful discussions to take place.

The workshop will be hosted on Friday 21st June at Nottingham University Business, Jubilee Campus, Nottingham, the day following the Annual Symposium of the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility Gender and Responsible Business.

We are interested in all marginalized voices, but are particularly interested in papers that address the following themes:

CSR in emerging/developing countries and contexts

CSR and diversity (LGBT, gender, ethnicities, disabilities etc

    CSR and power

The role of CSR in promoting equality

Researchers interested in submitting a paper for presentation should send their name, contact details, choice of theme and a 1000-1500 word abstract by 22nd March 2013 to lixlc22@nottingham.ac.uk

For more information please visit the ICCSR website.
