ICCSR Christmas Lecture 2012

The International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility is delighted to invite you to its forthcoming Christmas lecture with Jat Sahota, Head of Sponsorship, Sainsbury's who will talk about why Our Values make us Different.
Jat and his team lead the Sainsbury's campaign to activate its unique sponsorship of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Having joined Sainsbury's 6 years ago as Head of Fruit prior to which he held senior Commercial and Marketing roles at Heinz UK and Safeway plc. During his time in the Fruit business unit, Sainsbury's became the first supermarket to go 100% Fair trade on Bananas, helping to make Sainsbury the worlds largest retailer of FT branded goods. Subsequently he become Head of Corporate Responsibility where he and his team helped to redefine CR priorities from the customer point of view, leading to established programmes such as No Food Waste to Landfill and Local Charity of the Year for every store. In his current role as Head of Sponsorship he is responsible for all areas of the companies' sponsorship initiatives such as the Paralympic Games, Active Kids, Sainsbury's School Games, and the partnership with Comic Relief around Red Nose Day and Sport Relief.
