    Hi, Everyone;

Hope you are all gearing up for the Academy of Management meetings in
Boston the first week of August. The SIM Division has a stellar set
up just for you! SIM will be HQ'ed in the Boston Marriott Copley.
Here's a link to the official Academy site.
    http://meetings.aomonline.org/2012/menu-program Feel free to browse
    the entire program.

As you may already know, the theme is The Informal Economy which ties
in nicely with SIMian interests. SIM had a record number of
submissions this year (nearly 400!) which is ~20% increase in
submissions over its historic high. It goes without saying that the
program couldn't have been created without the incredible effort of
numerous SIMians. Let me first thank the 53 Associate Editors (yes,
53!) and the >400 regular reviewers that helped throughout January and
February. It was a heoric effort that is much appreciated!

More on the SIM program and the many hands involved in creating the
Boston program will be sent via the Listserv in a few weeks.
Look forward to seeing you in Boston!

    All the best,
    Jenn

    Dear SIMians,

I think this an opportune moment to offer Jenn a hearty "Thank You!!" for handling the submission decision process so flawlessly.  Yes, it does take a village, but it also takes much guidance from the Program Chair for the process to work as effectively as it did this year.  I am very much looking forward to the program in Boston and seeing Jenn's efforts come to life.

Please join me in congratulating Jenn on a job well done!
