    Dear SIMians,
    I trust this e-mail finds you well!
    I would like to cordially invite you to consider contributing your expertise to a forthcoming book edited by me and Dr. Chinmaya Kulshrestha, entitled “Dynamics of Competitive Advantage and Consumer Perception in Social Marketing”
    A call for Chapter is attached for your kind perusal. However, please feel free to write your chapter on any of the following topics:
    Social and Societal concepts & sustainable competitive advantage, Marketing Environment- Social Aspects, analyzing buying behavior: Socio-psychological aspects, Green marketing, eco-tourism, social marketing and community development, women and minorities in advertising, advertising to children.
    Marketing Mix: social perspectives; social Product, place, Cost and Promotion, Strategies for Changing Public Behavior. Social Marketing Plan, Promoting the corporate image, YouTube, Flickr, Vimeo, Metacafe, Facebook, twitter etc.
    Market Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning: A social Perspective; Social Marketing campaigns, social Media and Networking sites, Role of Advertising Appeals, Advertising: governmental versus self regulation, International marketing and promotion issues, Contemporary Issues in Social marketing; Genetically Modified Foods, Marketing of organic farm produce, Educating Youth on Racial Issues, Drug, tobacco, and alcohol abuse, Health care issues - AIDS, hospital versus home care, family planning, Case studies
    Should you accept this invitation, I would like to kindly ask that, on or before May 30, 2012, you submit via e-mail a 2-3 page chapter proposal for review that clearly explains the mission and concern of your proposed chapter. Should your proposal be accepted, you will be notified by October 15, 2012 about the status of your proposals and given until November 30, 2012, to submit your chapter upon which it will be sent for double-blind peer review. Please do write to me If incase you are willing to serve as reviewer for this project. This book is scheduled to be published by IGI Global (formerly Idea Group Inc.), publisher of the “Information Science Reference” (formerly Idea Group Reference), “Medical Information Science Reference” and “IGI Publishing” imprints.
