Happy graduation and beginning of the summer, everyone!
I'm looking for some insight on ESG databases. Has anyone worked with the MSCI ESG Ratings (IVA) or the MSCI ESG Controversies Screening databases? Are these more appropriate for student projects than academic research? How do these compare to Socrates (used to be called KLD)? Are these worth the 10K they are charging?
Any feedback advice or insight would be much appreciated!
