    Dear colleagues,

    <u1:p></u1:p>

    <u1:p> </u1:p>

    I'd like to share the latest systematic review released by the Network for Business Sustainability. Stephanie Bertels of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Simon</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Fraser</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">University</st1:placename></st1:place> has systematically reviewed past academic and practitioner research on embedding sustainability in organizational culture.

    Stephanie and her team identified 701 articles that covered this topic, and found 96 articles (82 academic, and 14 practitioner) most relevant. From those articles, they identified:

    ·         59 practices that embedded sustainability in organizational culture;

    ·         the practices grouped naturally by the degree to which they supported innovation (versus merely fulfilling responsibilities) and degree to which they invoked formal (versus informal) systems.

    <u1:p> </u1:p>

    Stephanie did a very nice job in synthesizing this broad literature. With the guidance of a group of managers, the report is not only academically rigorous, but managerially relevant. I encourage you to read the full report: Systematic Review (73 pages)<u1:p></u1:p>; Executive Report (20 pages) French version<u1:p></u1:p>

    If you haven't yet joined the  Network for Business Sustainability, I encourage you to do so. Its aim is to bridge the communities of research and practice through sustainability knowledge. We translate research for managers, who in turn help us identify the research they would most like to have translated. Our membership is over 1600, and is growing rapidly.

    Other systematic reviews conducted by the Network include:
