    Greetings to all SIMIANS,

     

    An important new book about Business and Society is "Corporate Responsibility: The American Experience" published by Cambridge University Press, 2012.  The authors are well-known CSR and business ethics scholars:  Archie Carroll, James Post, Patricia Werhane plus historian Kenneth Lipartito, with Kenneth Goodpaster as Executive Editor.  That's a quite impressive lineup, so you will want to read the book and recommend it to your students and colleagues.

    Here is my review of Deborah Leipziger's just-published book, The Corporate Responsibility Code Book (Sheffield, UK: Greenleaf , 2016).  This 3rd edition will bring you, your faculty colleagues, and your students totally up to date about the newest set of standards for attaining worldwide Corporate Responsibility.  If you also advise business firms, or have business executives in your classes, tell them about this very practical set of CR standards.
