  • 1.  Ethical Decision Scenarios

    *****Apologies for cross postings********

    Colleagues:

I am looking for some short (Approx. 150-250 words?) business ethics decision
scenarios that have previously proved useful in research. I am especially
interested in those that call for a decision leading a subject to act in ways
demonstrating a choice between self-interest and collective or social interest
(these would be much like the Batson or Greene scenarios but with a more
obvious business or organizational context). The back up plan is to revise
Greene's scenarios. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will save a
    compendium of responses.

    George,

One text that I use when teaching Ethics in Management has a variety of exercises and scenarios that are useful in class, especially for learning teams. I have liste the text:

Ferrell, O.C., Fraedrich, J., & Ferrell, L. (2008). Business ethics: Ethical decision making and cases (8th Ed.). Mason, OH: South-Western Cengage Learning.
