SIM-ians at San Antonio

    To SIM members:

A new tribe of SIM-ians has landed.

One of the great SIM traditions is the wearing of the SIM-ian on Academy of Management ID badges at the annual meeting. The SIM-ian is a colorful nylon monkey, and its display signals membership in the SIM Division. The SIM-ian has been distributed annually in recent years, and will be available this year in San Antonio. The supply is limited. First priority is for doctoral students and new attendees.  Thereafter on first come, first serve.  Look for Duane Windsor, who is our procurer, keeper, and distributor of SIM-ians.  If you can locate a SIM-ian from a prior year, please bring it with you to the conference – recycling our SIM-ians will help reduce the need for new purchases in the future. And save on bananas.

    With thanks to Duane,

    Barry Mitnick
    SIM Division Chair
