    Please pass this on to colleagues in finance who would enjoy teaching finance at a liberal arts school with a new analytics lab and an innovative curriculum.

    The Department of Business and Accounting at Furman University is seeking candidates to fill a tenure track position in finance. Candidates should have an earned Ph.D. in business administration or a related field, a primary teaching interest in finance, and a capability and/or desire to teach electives in finance with an emphasis on research methods and data analysis.

    The Department of Business and Accounting confers the B.A. degree with a major in either Business Administration or Accounting. The position requires teaching excellence, a program of scholarly and professional activity, effective institutional service, and an ability to work with colleagues across disciplines.


    Submit PDF versions of your curriculum vitae and a letter describing your educational philosophy, and include names and contact details for three references. Applicants will be considered at the assistant or associate levels. Furman is a highly selective, independent, undergraduate liberal arts institution with an enrollment of approximately 2700 students.
